 In 1993, Naturewatch produced the first edition of the Compassionate Shopping Guide. One of our earliest campaigns which, in its very first year, became hugely successful with 100,000 copies distributed to shoppers keen to support companies that don’t test on animals. It’s easy-to-understand format simplifies the minefield of company policies on animal testing.
Since then the Guide has helped thousands of people to shop for cruelty free cosmetics, toiletries, and household cleaning products; and has encouraged companies big and small to improve their animal testing policies in order to comply with our strict standards for inclusion in the Guide.
