In 1996, when other animal welfare groups thought Ukraine too difficult a country to deal with, Naturewatch Foundation started its support and collaboration with Tamara Tarnawska and SPA-SOS (the Kyiv Society for the Protection of Animals "SOS").
Her obstinate persistence in the face of difficulties which would swamp many others has led to her having an extraordinary level of influence on the development of sound animal welfare policies in Ukraine. We're proud of all that she does on behalf of the animals in her pioneering work. More... |
