Naturewatch was involved in supporting the pioneering work in Fethiye, Turkey from 2004-5. The Fethiye Friends of Animals Association has been operating there since April 2000, under Ms. Perihan Agnelli, a local businesswoman. Their main project is a neuter-and-release program to tackle the large stray dogs problem in the area, and they have recently set up a mobile clinic in order to reach into the surrounding region. We continue to be impressed by their work.
