| Badger Crime takes many forms. Lamping involves dazzling badgers with bright lights while they feed in fields; they are then set upon by dogs. Alternatively, those involved may dig into a badger sett and then send a terrier or two down to trap the badger underground - you can just see a terrier and badger in the righthand image. |

For the dogs involved, it may be just as cruel! The results of badger baiting are appalling for the dogs involved. They may be trained to hunt, but they are not equipped to deal with the jaws of a badger. |
