Although standard ‘Will Making Documents’ are available allowing you to write your own Will, you are best advised to take professional advice to ensure the document is correctly worded. Employing the time of a solicitor will be money well spent to ensure your Will is a legal document and you will be confident knowing your family will not have to endure a legal battle in the future.
Once you have decided how you would like your estate to be divided, you need to appoint an executor who will be responsible for carrying out the terms of your Will. Being an executor is quite a responsibility so you need to ensure the person you have chosen is happy to do this for you.
