About Naturewatch |
|
WHO WE ARE |

Naturewatch is a non-profit animal welfare campaigning organisation.
Our aims are to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals and to
conduct and support the publication of information concerning
animals in furtherance of their welfare. We work strictly within
the democratic system, condemn all illegal activity and believe that an evolutionary approach is better than a revolutionary one.
Our charitable wing, Naturewatch Foundation (Registered Charity Number 1039679), has been involved in pioneering
work in Eastern Europe since 1993 with current projects in Lithuania and Ukraine.
Spotlight on China' - a separate website for our work in China.
We also promote World Animal Day. |

MONTHLY BANKER'S ORDER
Please consider supporting our work to help the animals by setting up a Monthly Banker's Order. This method of donating enables us to plan ahead more effectively and it allows you to spread your payments evenly throughout the year. If you would like to support our work this way, you can either choose to set up a Banker's Order in favour of Naturewatch or Naturewatch Foundation, or both of course.
IMPORTANT - Please post your Banker's Order form to us NOT to your bank - thank you.

Some of our previous projects...
European Livestock - working in Europe to improve animal welfare standards during transport and at markets.
Australian Live Export - we joined with
Australian group PACAT in protesting against the live export of sheep to the Middle East.
Royal Commission - we campaigned for a Royal
Commission on animal experiments. The Government dragged their feet, and were saved by a
select committee from the House of Lords.
Help the Horses - We focused on the
live transport of horses from Eastern to Southern Europe for the meat trade. |
