[5 October 2005] - Yesterday at the Queen's Hotel in Cheltenham, Naturewatch launched the 10th edition of the Compassionate Shopping Guide.
This was an opportunity for a number of companies, who are leaders in cruelty-free shopping, to meet with journalists and to network. We were delighted to welcome representatives from companies like Green People, KMI (makers of the King of Shaves brand), Lavera, Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare, Moor Spa International, Neal's Yard Remedies and Somerfield, as well as pioneering ethical High Street retailer the Co-op.
After an introductory talk from Naturewatch's director John Ruane, there were presentations from KMI, the Co-op and Green People, with a concluding talk by London-based stylist Daniel Field.
This page gives a pictorial overview of the day.
