Congratulations to Martin Horwood MP - Animal Welfare Champion 2009! Naturewatch is delighted that Martins invaluable contribution to animal welfare has been recognised. Since being elected as MP for Cheltenham in 2005, Martin has consistently supported animal welfare issues, tabling many Early Day Motions on behalf of Naturewatch, and regularly raising questions in the House of Commons on issues such as badger crime, live export and experiments using non-human primates, to name a few. Martin is truly deserving of the title Animal Welfare Champion.
